Supplies needed
:
PSP
: done in PSP 9
Tube
: Amy Brown “Morgana” purchased from CILM, now at CDO
Scrapkit
: FTU Last Autumn by Fantasy Moments
**note re kit: This kit is downloaded from Rapidshare. I know some people have trouble getting kits from Rapidshare.
This is only in IE and IE based browsers, I promise you if you use another browser like Firefox or Google Chrome, you will get the kit
without a problem. Everyone that has tried these browsers eventually get the kit. I have no trouble at all downloading from Rapidshare.
I can't share the kit with you so there's no point in asking me, but please, just try one of these other browsers.

you can print

I am assuming you know the basics of Paint Shop Pro and where the tools can be located.
This is an easy tutorial and can be done by beginners.

Here are some arrows and bars you can drag and drop where you need to mark or underline where you are. .
Just left click and drag to where you want it then let go.
They will stay where you put them until you close your browser.

You can also drag this example with you
I would suggest saving the tag at the top of my tut and keeping it open while you work to refer to for placement or drag the one above.
Open your tubes, duplicate (Shift-D), and close the originals. Open your masks in PSP. Open the font if you don't want to install it.

Let’s Start
Prepare template
Open template, duplicate (shift-D) and close original. Delete copyright layer and the 2 flower layers.
Resize to 650X460, all layers checked, then resize canvas to 650X550, middle diamond so it goes evenly on top and bottom
New raster layer, in layer palette, pull to bottom, fill with white

Tube
I like to add my tube now so I can match colors, you can do it now or later.
I don't like the hard edge at the bottom of the tube so with selection tool, feather set to 30,
I selected bottom edge of tube as shown, when you let go, you'll see it expand.

Hit delete 4 X to feather the edge.
Resize 90%, Mirror, shadow 3/3/50/5/black

Mask layers
Highlight bottom layer and copy-paste paper 1 as a new layer, Adjust>Hue & Saturation>Colorize 10/169
Apply WSL mask 117, merge group. Resize 108%
Highlight top layer, paste paper 10 as new layer. Apply mask Vix mask 39, merge group, duplicate, merge down.
Resize 80% 4X, put this one is top right corner, duplicate, move to top left corner, merge down, duplicate, move this layer to bottom half of tag.
Now in layer palette pull it behind template layers and on top of other mask layer. Adjust position as needed. Merge both layers down.

Circle layer
Open paper 11, copy, on template, highlight circle layer, select all, float, defloat (Control-A, Control-F, Control-Shift-F), paste as new layer,
Selections>Modify, contract by 3, on original circle layer, hit delete;
Pull this circle frame to top of filled circle layer in layer palette. Drop shadow 3/3/40/5/black
On filled circle layer, Adjust>Hue & Saturation>Colorize 10/169

Text layer
Adjust>Brightness and Contrast>Brightness/Contrast: 129/28
Then Adjust>Hue & Saturation>Colorize 10/255

Rectangle layer
Turn off any layers in front of rectangle, like the flowers and your tube (click eye on that layer)
select all, float, defloat, fill with color dark brown #431700
Selections>Modify>Select selection border: Inside/3/anti-alias checked

New raster layer, Fill with color peachy rose #ec775c, drop shadow 3/3/0/5/black
Turn layers back on that you turned off

Dotted Rectangle layer
select all, float, defloat, fill with the dark brown #431700

Add Elements (resize, copy, paste as new layer, place)
59 (grapes), resize 50% 1X, paste, place to left of tag as shown, duplicate, mirror
34 (bow), resize 50% 2X, place top of left bunch of grapes, duplicate, mirror
68 (bow, bead string), resize 50% 2X, paste, place at top of circle duplicate, mirror original, colorize duplicate10/185
66 (bow and tag), resize 50%, colorize 10/175

Shadow elements and tube: 3/3/50/5/black; except for bead strings, they are 2/2/50/4/black

Unsharp mask of 2/40/4 where sharpening needed (I used 2/60/4 on the grapes)

Name: Aquarelle, size 48, stroke 0, bg color black,
Type name, convert to raster, rotate 30 degrees right, shadow 0/0/40/10/black,
in layer palette change blend mode to hard light, place on bow and tag element
Word art (if you don't want your name on it): I did "Forbidden Fruit" the same way but font size was 26

Resize: If you want to resize, do so before adding credits and watermarks.

Add your credits and watermark. Save as jpg or delete white background and save as transparent png.

Save as jpg or delete white background layer and save as transparent png.

l hope you had fun!

Webpage Design Information
The lacy webpage background was made in PhotoImpact with a tutorial by Deb DeHaven
Sadly, she passed away and her site is gone.
The font I used for all of the text on the buttons is BrockScript
The font I used for the "Autumn's Forbidden Fruit" tutorial header is
Autumn
.
Click on the font names to download the fonts.
I use PhotoImpact to make all of my headers due to the amazing
3D text it has and the wonderful presets available free online
Most of the presets I use are either the ones that come with PhotoImpact, usually the Gel ones,
or from Deb's PI Tutorials and More (see below) or
Carol Oyl's site

This is the address to Deb's old pages
http://www.fortunecity.com/skyscraper/millenit/1716/pitutorials/objects/presets/presets1.html
I can't find any links to her new pages but the presets are still on this page for download.
For more sites to find PI Presets, take a look at my Great Beginnings page.
