I am assuming you know the basics of Paint Shop Pro and where the tools can be located.
This is an easy tutorial and can be done by beginners.

Here are some arrows and bars you can drag and drop where you need to mark or underline where you are. .
Just left click and drag to where you want it then let go.
They will stay where you put them until you close your browser.

You can also drag this example with you
I would suggest saving the tag at the top of my tut and keeping it open while you work to refer to for placement or drag the one above.
Open your tubes, duplicate (Shift-D), and close the originals. Open your masks in PSP. Open the font if you don't want to install it.

Let’s Start
New canvas, Mask layer
Open new canvas 650X650. New raster layer, fill with white
New layer, select all (control-A), open paper 2, copy, paste into selection in working canvas.
Open mask in PSP, apply mask (layers>new mask layer>from image), merge group, resize 107%.

Tube
I like to add my tube now so I can match colors, you can do it now or later.
I don't like the hard edge at the bottom of the tube so with selection tool, feather set to 30,
I selected bottom edge of tube as shown, when you let go, you'll see it expand.

Hit delete 2X to feather the edge.
Mirror,
Effects>Xero>Porcelain at default

Add Elements (resize, copy, paste as new layer, place)
6 (trees), resize 50% 2X, paste, place as shown, duplicate, mirror
1 (tree), resize 50% 1X, then 75% once, mirror and place
21 (tears of the fall word art), resize 50% 2X, then 80% once, paste,
Rain 2, resize 50% 2X, paste and place just at top edge of mask layer, pull layer below tears of the fall layer
10 (mushroom), resize 50% 4X, paste and place
19 (acorn), resize 50% 3X, paste and place, duplicate, rotate right 40°
4 (butterfly), resize 50% 2X, paste and place
15 (flower), resize 50% twice, mirror, paste and place
19 (bird), resize 50% then 75%, paste and place

Curved text
Element 8 (curved text), resize 50% 2X, then 75% once, then paste and place
On curved text, apply Effect>Eye Candy 4000>Gradient Glow
Basic tab: 3/0/100/draw only outside selection checked
Color tab, pick Pride preset, shown here

Drop Shadows
Tube: 3/3/50/7/black
All Elements except Tears of the Fall WA: 2/2/50/4/black
Tears of the Fall WA: 2/2/50/2/black

Unsharp mask of 2/40/4 where sharpening needed

Name: Turbayne Running Hand, size 120, stroke 0, background color brown #6d513e,
Type name, convert to raster, rotate 40° left, select all, float, defloat (Control-A, Control-F, Control-Shift-F), new layer,
Modify>expand by 2, fill this layer with black, in layer palette, pull down below brown name layer, merge down, deselect,
shadow 2/2/50/2/black. You may have to adjust font size depending on length of name.

Resize: If you want to resize, do so before adding credits and watermarks.
In making some tags, I resized the tag to 600X600 and I also reduced the name by 90%.

Add your credits and watermark. Save as jpg or delete white background and save as transparent png.

Save as jpg or delete white background layer and save as transparent png.

l hope you had fun! Hugs, Ellie

Webpage Design Information
The lacy webpage background was made in PhotoImpact with a tutorial by Deb DeHaven
Sadly, she passed away and her site is gone.
The font I used for all of the text on the buttons is BrockScript
The font I used for the "Tears of the Fall" tutorial header is
CK Stacatto

plus the word "Fall" is from the scrapkit used in the tutorial.
Click on the font names to download the fonts.
I use PhotoImpact to make all of my headers due to the amazing
3D text it has and the wonderful presets available free online
Most of the presets I use are either the ones that come with PhotoImpact, usually the Gel ones,
or from Deb's PI Tutorials and More (see below) or
Carol Oyl's site

This is the address to Deb's old pages
http://www.fortunecity.com/skyscraper/millenit/1716/pitutorials/objects/presets/presets1.html
I can't find any links to her new pages but the presets are still on this page for download.
For more sites to find PI Presets, take a look at my Great Beginnings page.
