I am assuming you know the basics of Paint Shop Pro and where the tools can be located.
This is an extremely easy tutorial and can be done by beginners.

Here are some arrows and bars you can drag and drop where you need to mark or underline where you are. .
Just left click and drag to where you want it then let go.
They will stay where you put them until you close your browser.

You can also drag this example with you
I would suggest saving the tag at the top of my tut and keeping it open while you work to refer to for placement or drag the one above.
Open your tubes, duplicate (Shift-D), and close the originals. Open your masks in PSP. Open the font if you don't want to install it.
Let's Start
Open template, duplicate and close original, delete the credit layer, and
layers 2, 10, 5, & 3.
Resize canvas to 675X675, middle diamond selected.
Fill background layer with white to fill in transparent part.
I usually paste my tube now so I can match the colors better, you can do it now or later.
I resized tube 90% and mirrored it.

Oval layers
To each colored oval layer (not the glitter ovals), apply Effects>Texture Effects>Weave:
20/1/100/weave color white, fill gaps not checked

Word art layers:
Select layer Word art "Tropical"-raster 8,
Effects>Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, basic tab 3/0/100/draw only outside selection checked;
color tab medium preset, color white

Select layer Word art layer raster 9 and apply same gradient glow settings,

Select layer Word art "Treat"-raster 7, move up a bit, Effects>Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow,
basic tab as before: 3/0/100/draw only outside selection checked;
color tab fat preset, color #fdcc4a, then click on second color slider and change that color to the yellow as well

 Masked layers
Tropical kit, Paper 7, colorize blue 136/215, paste as new layer above raster 1 (background), duplicate layer.
On bottom layer, apply mask winni.mask.69.1, merge group, then resize layer 105% and center;
on top layer apply Vix mask 363, merge group, resize 105% and center.

 Add elements: copy-paste, resize, place as shown in tag
From Tropical kit:

Copy-paste tropical fruits 2, the coconuts, resize 90% 4X, then 95% once, place between Treats layer and coconuts word art layer
Copy-paste Tropical fruits 1 & 3, watermelon and peaches, resize 50% each, place, duplicate peaches, mirror, resize 80%, place
Duplicate coconuts you placed earlier, mirror, resize 80%, place
Stickers 3 (sun), resize 50%, then 80%, paste and place

 From Lime in the Coconut kit:
Tropical Drink, resize 30%, paste and place
Palm Tree, resize 60%, free rotate 15° right, sharpen, paste and place
Flower (green one), resized 50%, paste and place, duplicate, mirror, place; colorize top one 18/230;
Duplicate middle one again, mirror, place, Adjust>Color Balance>Manual color correction:
source color #dbfe67 pale green, target color preset Pure Colors: Yellow, preserve lightness unchecked, preserve saturation checked

Word art, resize 50% 2X, then 80% once, rotate 20° right, paste and place, colorize 93/215

Add tube if you haven’t yet.

Drop Shadows
Main tube and large coconuts: 3/3/60/7/black
Tree: 2/2/60/7/black
Drink, flowers, fruit: 2/2/60/5/black
Sun and “Lime in the Coconut” word art not shadowed
Glittered oval layers (raster 4 and both copy (2) of raster 4: 3/3/60/7/black
Word art layers (the ones in the template, not the added one from kit): drop shadow 2/2/60/2/black

 Name: SnagglePuss, size 100, no stroke, bg color pink #ed076d, fg color white,
Type name, convert to raster, select all-float-defloat (Control-A, Control-F, Control-Shift-F), expand 2, new layer,
fill with white, pull below colored text layer, back up to colored text layer, merge down, deselect, shadow 2/2/50/5/black

 Resize: If you want to resize, do so before adding credits and watermarks.

 Save as jpg or delete white background layer and save as transparent png.

l hope you had fun!

Webpage Design Information
The lacy webpage background was made in PhotoImpact with a tutorial by Deb DeHaven
Sadly, she passed away and her site is gone.
The font I used for all of the text on the buttons is BrockScript
The font I used for the "Tropical Treat" tutorial header is LD Beach.
Click on the font names to download the fonts.
I use PhotoImpact to make all of my headers due to the amazing
3D text it has and the wonderful presets available free online
Most of the presets I use are either the ones that come with PhotoImpact, usually the Gel ones,
or from Deb's PI Tutorials and More (see below) or
Carol Oyl's site

This is the address to Deb's old pages
http://www.fortunecity.com/skyscraper/millenit/1716/pitutorials/objects/presets/presets1.html
I can't find any links to her new pages but the presets are still on this page for download.
For more sites to find PI Presets, take a look at my Great Beginnings page.
