PSP
The roses are in two layers, delete the layer with my name on
it.
My plugin windows may look different from yours as I use Filters
Unlimited to manage my plugins. You can purchase it
here.
I am assuming you know the basics of Paint Shop Pro and where
the tools can be located.
1.
Open a new canvas, 1280 X 300. Open the graphic you will be
making the background for or you can use a psp graphic, psd
graphic, tube, gif, jpg.
If you would like to use the same graphic I did, download it
from the link above. |
2. Using eyedropper,
choose a pale to medium color from your graphic.
I used #DBA9B5. Flood fill the strip with your color. This is
just in case you miss a spot in the pasting. |
3. Copy your chosen
graphic or copy a portion of it with the colors you want. If you
are using a tube, click on the tube tool. Fill your strip with
the graphic, re-pasting a number of times until the strip is
filled to your satisfaction. Alternately, you can go to
selections, select all and then paste the graphic into the
selection. This will stretch out the graphic but it doesn't
matter here. Each way will give a different effect as will the
choice of graphic used. This is what mine looked like after
pasting. Merge down. |
4. Go to Effects,
Funhouse, Twister, set twister intensity at 47. Apply.
It should look
similar to this. |
5. Go to Effects,
Simple, 4 Way Average. Apply.

It should now look
similar to this. |
6. Create new raster
layer. Using the same color you filled your strip with in step 1
or use white, flood fill the new layer. Go to the layer palette
and turn the opacity of this layer down to 50 (use the slider
where you see the 100, slide it down to 50). |
It should now look
similar to this. Merge all and save as a jpg. |
7. Open 20-20, open
your saved jpg in the program, click on image tab, click muted
background, make sure seamless tile is checked, and apply. |
It should now look
like this. It will be seamless. Save and you're done. |
