Screenshots

1. Open psd file or transparent gif, duplicate, close original, resize if too large (go to Image>Image Size, make sure constrain proportions is checked). A wide graphic usually work best. If you have psp, open your tube in psp, go to save as, and save as a psd file. This can be used in Photoshop.
Go to Select>All, Edit>Copy.
Open canvas, black, width of tube + 50 and twice as high + 40 pixels.
Paste as new layer onto black canvas.
Position at top, just to the left of center, using the move tool .

2. Right click in layer palette of graphic layer, Duplicate layer, go to Edit>Transform>Flip Vertical.
Position this layer right underneath the original tube layer. Keep selected.

3. Reduce opacity of the duplicated layer to 20%. Keep selected.

4. Go to Edit>Transform>Distort, shift bottom of duplicated layer slightly to the right, go by your own judgment what looks good and make sure the picture doesn't come off the edge of the canvas, hit enter when satisfied.

5. When happy, merge all and crop excess canvas if needed, using the rectangular marquee tool   and go to Image>Crop after selection. Add words if you choose to, eg Happy Easter, etc.
Save as jpg for assembly into stationery program. In your stat program, just place the graphic at top center, and use the eyedropper in the body color to exactly match the black. For instance, this black was slightly off, and in my stationery program, I could see the outline of the graphic, so I just used the eyedropper to match the color for the body.

You're done!  I always loved this style of letter and didn't realize how simple they were to make.
