PSD
PSP
The roses are in two layers, delete the layer with my name on
it.
My plugin windows may look different from yours as I use Filters
Unlimited to manage my plugins. You can purchase it
here.
I am assuming you know the basics of Photoshop and where
the tools can be located. |
1.
Open a new canvas, 250 X 250. Open the graphic you will be
making the background for or you can use a psd
graphic, gif, or jpg.
If you would like to use the same graphic I did, download the
psd file
from the link above. |
2. Using eyedropper,
choose a pale to medium color from your graphic.
I used #DBA9B5. Flood fill the tile with your color. This is
just in case you miss a spot in the pasting. |
3. Copy your chosen
graphic or copy a portion of it with the colors you want. Fill your
tile with
the graphic, re-pasting and moving the pasted down graphic with
the mover tool a number of times until the tile is
filled to your satisfaction. This is what mine looked like after
pasting a number of times. Go to layer, merge down or flatten
image. |
4. Go to Effects,
Funhouse, Twister, set twister intensity at 47. Apply. |
It should look
similar to this. |
5. Go to Effects,
Simple, 4 Way Average. Apply. |
It should now look
similar to this. |
6. Go to layer, new
layer, color none, mode normal, opacity 100%, click ok. |
7. Using same color
you used in step 2, flood fill new layer. Go to layer palette
and turn opacity down to 50%, leave other settings at default. |
It should now look
similar to this. Merge all and save as a jpg. |
8. Open 20-20, open
your saved jpg in the program, click on image tab, click muted
background, make sure seamless tile is checked, and apply. |
It should now look
like this. It will be seamless. Save and you're done. |
