For this tutorial you will need:
Incredimail Letter Creator - available for purchase here
A stationery strip
Please do my previous tutorial to make a stationery with the graphic centered at the top first.
Click here to go to that tutorial. It contains all of the preliminary instruction.

This is what we will be making

1. Pick your stationery strip (to make this strip, click here for the tutorial in PhotoImpact). You can make this in your graphic program such as PSP, PhotoImpact or Photoshop. I have tutorials to make this strip in PSP, PhotoImpact and Photoshop, check the tutorial index - click here - for the corresponding program). I usually make my strip 1000 pixels wide by about 200-300 pixels wide. I make my stat strip so long because if you don't, people with large monitors will see it retiling again at the bottom. Something very important to remember is to put all of the graphics you will be using into the same folder, and leave it where it is. If you want to readjust the letter later, and you have moved or renamed any of the graphics, when you reopen the stationery in Letter Creator, you will see red exes where your graphics should be. Letter Creator reads the graphic from the location. I have a folder on my hard drive called Letters Created and inside of that folder are subfolders with the stationery name on it, and inside each of these subfolders are the graphics for each letter, plus text notes on fonts and colors if I need them.

The strip I used was longer, this one was cropped for easier viewing here.

2. Open your Letter Creator program and click on the body tab. Click on the image button and browse to where you saved your strip and click open to insert it into the stationery.
4. Click on the Tile button as shown, and the image will tile all the way across.
It will look like this.
5. The text is still over top of the graphic and we need to fix that. In the body tab, change the top margin where shown at the right. Also increase the text size, to at least 18, more for a smaller sized font. Pick the font, the text color and link color, and change the signature color to match text color.
It will look like this.
6. Finish your letter off as in the previous tutorial (click here), first by going to the Footer tab and inserting the information, etc there, then to the 3D Effects tab to add the 3D Effects, then to the Finish tab to save your stationery and add it to Incredimail.

You are now done your stationery. This is what mine looked like. You can't see the footer information as it scrolled past this screen shot but it is there.
