Cut Glass Tile |

For this tutorial you will need:
ULead PhotoImpact - available for purchase

or
Adobe Photoshop - available for purchase
here
or
Jasc Paint Shop Pro - available for purchase
here
This tutorial will work in any of these programs.
Filters needed
Two Moon Filters -
available free
here
FM Tile Tools - free trial available
here
(I understand Blend-Emboss (which is what we use in this
tutorial)
is one of the settings that continues to work when the trial is
done)
Simple Quick Tile - available free
here
I am assuming you know the basics of your graphics program and where
the tools can be located.

1. Open canvas 200 X
200, pick a color from your graphic or of your own choosing, fill
canvas with the color.

2. Go to
Effects or Filter>Two Moon>Cut Glass. Size 14,
Transparency 23.
|

It should look like
this now.

3. Go to
Effects>Simple>Quick Tile. It will look like this now.

4. Go to Effects>FM
Tile Tools>Blend Emboss at default settings.

It should look like
this now. You can stop here or go on to the next step.

5. reduce opacity for
a lighter effect
In PI go to Edit>Fill, white at 50% transparency
In PSP, right click in layer palette>new raster layer. Fill with
fill tool, white, reduce opacity in layer to 50%
In Photoshop: Layer>New>Layer, then using the Paint Bucket tool,
fill with white, go to the layer palette and reduce opacity to
50%.If
desired, you can now apply FM Tile Tools Blend Emboss again at
default settings.
You're done, save as
a jpg. |
