For this tutorial you will
need: Jasc or Corel Paint Shop Pro. I've done this tutorial in PSP 9 and PSP XI. I believe it can be done in most versions. You may have to look around for the commands but it's likely they are there. Filters and materials needed Filters Unlimited 2 Supplies in zip file here http://www.ellies-treasures.com/files/tuts/scrap-automne-supplies-psp.zip Supplies in zip file here for older versions if the other ones don't work for you. These are in psd format. http://www.ellies-treasures.com/files/tuts/scrap-automne-supplies-psd.zip ********** Credits: Used with permission to Violette Woman tube by Patry from Overseas Tubes (group now gone) Scrap tubes by Melissa of Scrappy Expressions ********** My plugin windows may look different from yours as I use Filters Unlimited 2 to manage my plugins. It's available for purchase here: http://www.icnet.de/filters_unlimited/ |
| Preparation Open your tubes, duplicate them (shift-D) and close the originals. I always open all of my tubes and close as I use them None of the tubes are used more than once. I also keep a copy of the tag example open to refer to. Save mine from the top of the page and keep it open if you would like to do this. |

Do save your tag as a psp or pspimage file at this point so you don't lose everything. I've already saved 4 or 5 times by this stage. You're done the main tag, now on to decorating! |

If you resize To make sure your paper textures don't go funny, especially the gold paper, resize in stages. First resize to 500, then 400, etc (Bicubic). Or resize by percentage, 90% at a time. When you get close to the size you want, resize by pixels as you usually do. If you resize, use the unsharp mask or Brightness/Contrast to sharpen it a bit. Adjust>Sharpness>Unsharp mask at Radius 1, strength 60, clipping 4. or Adjust>Brightness and Contrast set to Brightness of 5-contrast of 15. |
